*Your tasks include:

- Bioinformatic support of the integrated proteomics and lipidomics platform of the DFG-funded priority programme “SPP2225 EXIT Strategies
- Host cell exit of intracellular pathogens” in evaluating quantitative proteomic data sets. For further information regarding the platform, please visit the SPP2225 homepage
- Development and implementation of new approaches for the analysis of mass spectrometric
data (e.g. visualization, alignment, peak detection)
Optimization and further development of methods and algorithms for quantitative proteomics
Your profile:
- Completed studies and PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or any
other related natural science
- Extensive experience in the field of computational biology, bioinformatics, algorithm development
- Ideally experience in the field of evaluation of mass spectrometric data and quantitative proteome analysis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and organisational talent
- High motivation, work self-dependently and high flexibility
- Very good English skills
