We are actively seeking a passionate and skilled Mass Spectrometry Specialist to manage our OMICs Platform at University Cote D’Azur. Roles and responsabilities •Performing omics analysis with mass spectrometry •Technical maintenance of equipment: calibrations, upkeep and repair, updating associatedcomputer software •Interface with various user researchers from UniCA Institutes (IRCAN, iBV, IPMC, TIRO-MATOs, ICN…), clinicians (Nice and Marseille CHU, CAL…) and industrial partners (BayerCropscience, Virbac…) •Scientific consulting in the design and management of projects, leading or participating inthe analysis of omics and non-targeted data •

Technological monitoring •Administrative and technical follow-up on the purchase and maintenance of equipment •Contributing to the valorization of the platform’s work through publications and to thevisibility of the structure by participating in networks, congresses, and updating the website Profile sought •PhD in biology, chemistry or related field •Perfect knowledge in mass spectrometry analysis, particularly high-resolution LC/MS/MS •Experience in at least one omic technology (metabolomics, proteomics) •Good skills in the field of computer and statistical analysis of mass spectrometry inproteomics and metabolomics •Knowledge of quality approach and good laboratory practices •Good teamwork skills and ability to interface with researchers, clinicians, and industrialpartners.Start Date: June 2024 Duration: 1-year temporary contract (possibility of fixed-term, the position will be continued as a fixed-term CDI fonctionnaire, in 2025)
