The Stühler lab - *Molecular Proteomics Laboratory *(MPL) - at the Biological Medical Research Center (BMFZ), Heinrich Heine University (HHU) Düsseldorf provides access to advanced protein mass spectrometry to explore complex biological systems by proteomic approach.

The applicant are looking forward to interesting projects in which high-resolution mass spectrometry in cooperation with leading working groups will address contemporary scientific topics. For this, a state-of-the-art equipment (Orbitrap Fusion Lumos, two Q Exactive Plus systems, TSQ Vantage, all coupled with nanoHPLC systems) is available.

We look for a postdoctoral fellow with in-depth experience in the field of mass spectrometry and instrumental protein analysis and expect applicants to be motivated and interested in interdisciplinary research subjects. Excellent communication skills in English/German are of benefit. It is possible to *continue or start one's own projects *in order to lay the foundation for a scientific career in the field of protein mass spectrometry.
